Welcome to Tijjori (“Tijjori”, “Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Tijjori website, mobile application, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately. This document has been independently drafted for Tijjori based on standard industry practices for digital precious metals platforms and UAE compliance requirements.

2. Definitions

For the purpose of these Terms:

“Digital Gold” / “Digital Silver” means fractional ownership representation of physical precious metals purchased through the Platform.
“Customer” / “User” / “You” means any individual or entity using the Platform.
“Vault Partner” means the approved third-party vault or bullion custody provider engaged for storage of precious metals.
“Platform” refers to Tijjori’s website, mobile applications, APIs, and related services.
“Product Balance” refers to the customer’s precious metal holdings displayed digitally on the Platform.
“AML” means Anti-Money Laundering regulations applicable under UAE laws.

3. Eligibility & Account Registration

To use Tijjori services, users must:

Be at least 18 years old;
Be legally capable of entering binding agreements;
Complete KYC and identity verification requirements;
Provide accurate and updated information;
Maintain confidentiality of account credentials and OTPs.

Tijjori reserves the right to reject or suspend any account at its sole discretion.

4. Nature of Services

Tijjori provides a technology platform enabling customers to:

Buy and sell fractional gold and silver;
Save regularly in precious metals;
Track holdings digitally;
Redeem holdings subject to eligibility conditions;
Access partner-based gold programs and offers.

Tijjori does not provide investment advisory, banking, brokerage, or portfolio management services.

5. Precious Metal Ownership & Custody

All customer purchases are linked to corresponding precious metal holdings maintained through approved bullion suppliers and vault partners.

Customer balances displayed on the Platform are backed by physical precious metals maintained under Tijjori’s custody and reconciliation framework.

Gold and silver may be stored with approved third-party vault providers, logistics companies, or custodians selected by Tijjori.

6. Buying Precious Metals

Users may purchase fractional gold or silver through the Platform using supported payment methods.

Prices are based on live market rates;
Applicable spreads, premiums, fees, or charges may apply;
Once a transaction is confirmed, the applicable rate is locked for that transaction;
Purchased quantities are reflected in the customer product balance after successful processing.

Tijjori reserves the right to reject or reverse transactions in case of technical errors, payment failures, compliance concerns, or suspected fraud.

7. Selling Precious Metals

Users may sell eligible precious metal holdings through the Platform at the prevailing sell rate available at the time of confirmation.

Settlement timelines may vary depending on:

Banking channels;
Compliance reviews;
Operational processes;
Payment provider timelines.

Funds may only be transferred to verified accounts or approved payout channels.

8. Physical Redemption (Coming soon as a service - not yet live)

Eligible users may request physical redemption of their precious metal holdings subject to:

Minimum redemption thresholds;
Applicable fabrication, minting, delivery, and insurance fees;
Geographic delivery availability;
Successful KYC verification.

Delivery timelines are indicative and may vary.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery details. Proof of delivery maintained by logistics partners shall be considered valid delivery confirmation.

9. Pricing & Market Risk

Precious metal prices fluctuate continuously based on international and local market conditions.

By using the Platform, you acknowledge and accept that:

Gold and silver prices may rise or fall;
Returns are not guaranteed;
Market volatility may impact holdings and redemption values.

Past performance does not guarantee future performance.

10. Fees & Charges

Tijjori may charge:

Transaction fees;
Platform/service fees;
Redemption fees;
Delivery/logistics fees;
Payment processing fees;
Other disclosed charges.

Applicable fees may be displayed during the transaction journey or within the Platform.

11. Reconciliation & Audit

Tijjori performs periodic reconciliation between:

Customer balances;
Internal transaction records;
Bullion inventory reports;
Vault holding records.

Tijjori reserves the right to conduct audits, reviews, and compliance checks through internal teams or authorized third parties.

12. Compliance & AML Obligations

Tijjori complies with applicable AML, sanctions, counter-terrorism financing, and regulatory obligations.

We may:

Request additional documents or source-of-funds information;
Monitor transactions;
Restrict or suspend accounts;
Report suspicious activities to authorities where legally required.

Accounts linked to prohibited or high-risk activities may be terminated without notice.

13. Prohibited Activities

Users must not:

Use the Platform for unlawful purposes;
Engage in fraud, money laundering, or sanctions violations;
Attempt unauthorized access to systems;
Manipulate pricing or transactions;
Use bots, automation tools, or scraping systems without authorization.

Violation may result in immediate suspension or termination.

14. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, branding, logos, designs, software, content, and intellectual property associated with Tijjori remain the exclusive property of Tijjori or its licensors.

No material may be copied, distributed, or reproduced without prior written consent.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tijjori shall not be liable for:

Market losses or fluctuations;
Delays caused by third parties;
Banking or payment gateway interruptions;
Technical outages or downtime;
Force majeure events;
Indirect or consequential losses.

Tijjori’s maximum liability shall not exceed the value of the disputed transaction.

16. Suspension & Termination

Tijjori may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts without prior notice if:

Required by law or regulators;
Fraud or suspicious activity is detected;
These Terms are violated;
Risk concerns arise.

17. Business Continuity

In the event Tijjori ceases active operations, customer holdings and reconciliation records maintained with vault and bullion partners shall remain subject to applicable operational, legal, and regulatory settlement procedures.

18. Third-Party Services

The Platform may integrate with third-party providers including:

Payment gateways;
Banks;
Logistics companies;
Vault providers;
KYC providers;
Bullion suppliers.

Tijjori shall not be responsible for third-party failures or service interruptions beyond its reasonable control.

19. Privacy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by Tijjori’s Privacy Policy. By using the Platform, you consent to collection, processing, and sharing of information as necessary for operations, compliance, and service delivery.

20. Amendments

Tijjori reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time.

Updated versions shall become effective upon publication on the Platform. Continued use constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.

21. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.

Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Dubai, UAE.
